Plow Blades

Flat edges are the multi-purpose steel for all plowing and grading. Borox flat edges are made for the majority of the commercially available machines and Equipment on the market. ost flat edges are available with curved ends.

In order to provide quick service throughout the year we hold our standard edges available in stock. Most of our flat edges have a hardness of 500 Brinell.

If you need stronger steel, we can through our research and process development also offer flat edges in 550-600 Brinell. In order to enable the manufacture of an improved abrasion resistant steel, with negligible cracking tendency, the steel analysis and the tempering process have been systematically developed. Steel with this kind of hardness provides up to 40 % longer tool life compared to conventional steel on the market.

Borox offers flat edges with curved ends, which are made for most commercially available machines and equipment. The steel is bent at one end to provide protection to the outer surface of the plow. In Borox assortment you will also find reversible flat edges with curved end.

Ice Scraper BX500 is a further development of the common perforated edges on the market. Ice scrapers are self-sharpening and fit most graders and plows on the market.

After processing the Ice Scraper BX500 leaves a rough road surface with grooves, which retain the salt and sand in an efficient manner. This reduces salt consumption and improves the de-icing operation.

To improve the Ice Scraper even more, we have also included the BX550 in our standard assortment. The BX550 is mounted with bolt and nuts or wedges and wedge bolts.

The Borox Ice scraper BX500 with returned ends provide protection to the outer side of the plow blade. A perfect general steel for winter roads with compact snow and ice.

Ice Scraper BX500R has the same unique properties as BX500, but providing BX500 with a lining of rubber, you will also be able to efficiently prevent snow and ice from getting through the perforated holes. Thanks to the rubber coat you will be able to work more quietly.

For tough ice or snow you need Borox serrated blade. The serrated blade, Ice Scraper, works well on icy roadways, where you after processing receive a very good road holding surface.

The serrated blade is available in different variaties and dimensions; curved or flat with rolled sharp profiles, or flat not beveled - all this to insure your needs.

System 2000 works as a drill, where the carbide pins rotate easily to collect the material and the material is ground between the pins. The pins work their way down in to the material with a small contact surface and this makes the grader easy to maneuver.

In our standard assortment you will find System BX2000 with both 25 degrees angle and 45 degrees angle for attachment to the truck.

The Carbide pins are mounted into holders where they rotate easily and carry material which is ground between the pins. The pins work in material with plant Surface and gives an easily maneuverable planer. 

The pins are produced with a large hard metal tip that is easy to replace. You can choose between pointed pins and blunt pins. 

Borox carbide pins are supplied by leading manufacturers, which ensures the highest quality. The pins are tested to the Swedish system and comply with environmental conditions.

To give the plow blade a longer life span we offer you a blade with reinforced carbide in the edges. The multi-purpose steel for all ploughing and grading.

Borox flat carbide edges are manufactured for most commercially available machines and equipment. To provide you with quick service, both summer and wintertime, our standard edges are normally in stock.

Thanks to the adapter plate you can quickly and easily change new plow blades and/or flip over existing blades - all you need is a powerful hammer. 

The adaptor plate is bolted to the moldboard and the plough blades are secured with a wedge and wedge bolt. It is therefore important that you use the right combination of wedge, wedge bolt, mounting plate and blade. See the PDF-files for more information.

In our assortment we offer cord steel from 10 mm and upward. The cord steel is available for most string spreaders and graders on the market.
